Sabbath School starts at 9:15am

Learning God’s Word is an essential part of the Christian walk, and what better way to learn, than in school? Vibrant singing sets the tone for these sessions, which begin at 9:15 am on Saturdays. Members and visitors are divided into groups or classes for healthy discussion on what the bible says about topical issues that affect us in our daily lives. Parents, we love it when you bring your children to worship with us. While the adults and the youth study God’s word in the main sanctuary, school is also in session in the lower auditorium and the adjoining rooms. Your children may be left in the capable hands of our trained teachers and care givers to learn God’s Word in fun and interesting ways.

Divine Service starts at 11am Saturday (Sabbath)

This is a formal worship session designed for our church family to worship God with the reverence and holiness that He deserves. Every aspect of our worship; congregational hymns, prayer, musical presentations, testimony, serves to prepare our hearts for the message from God…the sermon.

Adventist Youth Society starts Saturday at 4:15pm

College, decisions, relationships, peer pressure…There is no doubt about it. Young people have special issues. Our Adventist Youth sessions held on Saturday evenings from 4:15 to 6:00 pm are designed to help the youth find answers to their questions in God’s Word, through music, song and discussion. We understand youth ministry to be the work of the church that is conducted for, with, and by young people.

Sundays at 6:15pm

We also learn together as a family. Every Sunday at 6:15 pm, we gather for the Evangelistic Service, during which we teach and learn more about the doctrines of the Seventh-day Adventist church.

Starts at 7:15pm Wednesday nights

We believe in the awesome power of prayer and its ability to change the course of life. So we think of the Wednesday Night Prayer Service as our mid-week recharge…A time for families and members to reconnect with the holy spirit, through singing, prayer and testimony, every Wednesday at 7:15 pm.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16,17

Prayer and Fast

“Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend. Not that it is necessary in order to make known to God what we are, but in order to enable us to receive Him.” Privilege of Prayer p 93

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. Jn 16:13

Additional Special Services At King Street SDA Church

God does not take pleasure in death and we don’t either. We provide grief counseling (optional) and offer prayer on behalf of the families of the deceased. Our funeral service seeks to inform/remind that God still cares, the Holy Spirit still comforts and “as long as Jesus lives there is hope”.

Few things are so daunting yet so rewarding as being baptized. Sometimes it seems like the entire world is on your shoulders; others times it seems like everyone is cheering you on. Whatever your circumstances we are committed not only to getting you into the water but out again and introducing you to Jesus. Remember ,”Now is the day of salvation.”

“Children are an inheritance from God” and as such we place high value on their spiritual well-being. It may surprise you that there is no command given in the bible to baptize children who cannot account for themselves. Here at King Street we follow Jesus’ example of “laying hands on them and praying for them” and thus dedicating them to God.

Marriage is one of the earliest gifts given by God to mankind. From the beginning God ordained that one man and one woman cleave and become as one. Today few things make us rejoice more than seeing two people get married – and today we would like that opportunity to rejoice with you.
