“The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to make disciples of all people, communicating the everlasting gospel in the context of the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus as personal Savior and unite with His remnant Church, disciplining them to serve Him as Lord and preparing them for His soon return.”

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthew 28:19-20

Preaching is God's chosen method of bringing people back to His Word. We proudly proclaim the gospel that Jesus came, died, rose in three days and is coming back again!

The Gospel

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 1 Cor 1:21

A person must be fully immersed in both water and the Spirit to experience the benefits of baptism. Heaven is waiting for those who have been born again.

Born Again

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

Jesus himself instructed us to make disciples of all; teaching them His instructions to observe.

A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.
Luke 6:40.

Roger Roach
Roger RoachFirst Elder
On December 23, 2015, Elder and Sis. Roger Roach celebrated 25 years of marriage. As the First Elder of King Street SDA Church, Roger, as he is affectionately known, is serving his third term as the First Elder.

A wonderful father and husband, he is married to Launa Roach, who is currently employed at the Bridgetown Seventh-day Adventist Primary School. They have five (5) children; Kimberly, Kyle, Kalah, Kion and Kahlan.

Humble in spirit, Elder Roach enjoys his days as a Joiner and Cabinet Maker when he is not serving God through his outreach efforts throughout various communities. His goal is for all of his family and extended church family to see God’s Kingdom and as long he has breath, he will continue to do all within his power to obtain this.

I was born to reflect the image of a God who is powerful enough to create my universe, attentive enough to hear my prayers and loving enough to be defined by self-sacrifice. I find my greatest fulfillment on a journey toward purpose and wholeness.
